i love plum

I couldn't resist buying Martha's rag today at the grocery store. Cupcakes are my weakness and aren't reserved for special occasions in this house...no Sir!

I can pretty much find any excuse for baking and cupcakes are always a big favorite.

Stella and I made Lemon Squares last night and they came out AWESOME! I never follow recipes as the law but use them more as a guide and the way I tweaked these babies...o.m.gosh they're so good!

So. I gave it my all yesterday between Photoshop hell and all the other blog mishaps...trying to change my blog template. I'm over this one and anyone that knows me knows that once I get something in my head I have to go for it then and there. I need to be reined in every once in a while...I can get totally out of control; which is exactly how I felt yesterday. I'm a control freak and when I lose that control I'm a nightmare to be around ;)

I'm still not done fixing what I screwed up yesterday so bare with me. Tomorrow Craig and I are off to Boston for the night. I'm so excited...we totally need this right now. We've got hotel reservations at one of the boutique hotels that we love, a party to go to and plans for dinner at The Franklin Cafe (our old haunt). Should be great! Thanks Mom for babysitting!!!

Nothing new in the shop...I've taken the week off and wasted time like you wouldn't believe. I've been in a creative slump lately and I'm just starting to get that urge back. Maybe later I'll make something to perk me up :)
