I missed posting yesterday so scuse' the tardiness :)
We went for a quick apple picking trip to my favorite farm, Butternut! Glad we made it there because from the sounds of things this could be their last weekend for the year! Yikes, time sure has flown!

R was pooped and couldn't wait to get into her cozies after a warm tub...one of the rare photos she's actually cooperating in. S has taken a shining to those rain boots she's got on. Yesterday she wanted them by her head while she was napping and wore them after her tubby (naked)...you got to hand it to her, she knows a good thing when she sees one...these are some of my faves handed down from Z.

R took that pic of me while I'm sewing...she actually did a good job centering and I like that I'm not looking at the camera :)

Some new cuteness for the shop...the bunny one is obviously so simple but oh so cute! It will go in cheap, cheap, cheap!! I had been waiting for that skull fabric for sometime and it was SO worth the wait...I LOVE it!

Okay, I've got to think about din din and perhaps bake a little something...I'm always in the mood to cook when it's cold outside and there's a fire burning...so cozy!

We've been so spoiled by the good weather lately, that one lousy rainy day has me in quite the mood !!! I SO didn't want to go on this field trip this morning and I thought for sure they'd cancel it...but no, we were on. Once I resigned myself to the fact that we'd be getting wet and muddy I did have a good time, reluctantly.

I can't seem to get Miss R to SMILE...she looks so sullen in almost every picture I take of her that I hardly have any shots of her at all! The one above is a riot...she is completely sacked out mid bite. Things got ugly when I tried to wake her for a tub and dinner....she must have cried for at least an hour straight...LOUDLY!

Anywhoo...I'm off to do some designing (I need something to switch my mood around)!

Today's Sparklie's

• Made a cute new Tutu and I think I'll list them in the shop...what's the worst that can happen?
• Making spaghetti and meatballs for dinner and the meatballs are already done!
• I'm already looking forward to tomorrows sunny day and apple picking.
• Found out our friends are coming up Sunday to look at more properties near us and we'll probably hit the huge corn maze.
• The girls are quietly playing school in the playroom...please make it last!

The apron Tutu

It was only a matter of time before I got onto the tutu band wagon!

A natural progression for a crafty Mom of three girls!

It seemed so easy (at first) until I had to add my little bit of flair to the darn thing. Two hours later I came up with this sweet little apron tutu. I think it's pretty darn cute and I'm hoping as I do more of them the process will become faster and easier (I get grouchy when things take too long). So, let me know what you think!

N just made me cry...

I know I just posted but as I was quickly perusing my blog roll, noticed my lovely Canadian friend had just posted this. Not sure why it made me so emotional but it did. This a woman who I admire and adore (from afar). N, you'd make a paper sack look stylish and hip...talk about beauty!

Another perfect Fall day! Didn't do much but hang around the house and get caught up on chores that seemed to have fallen by the wayside over the past few days. Just a quick post before I'm off to tubby Miss S (who decided to take a late nap thus missing the earlier tub). I'm psyched to get going on some more Christmas designing tomorrow and I'm crossing my fingers my etsy orders come in the mail! Hope you had a great weekend!

the fair was fair...

Well, the fair has come and gone and although it didn't have the foot traffic a good craft fair calls for I certainly had a good time.

The weather couldn't have been more perfect and I was with good friends which always means lots of laughs :) We couldn't help but giggle about some of the other 'crafter's'...I guess anything goes at these type of events.

I had a few sales but not nearly as many as I was hoping for. The folks passing by were just (and do I dare say this....yes, I will!) not hip enough or even close (toothless), (cigarettes hanging out of the mouth), (dirty sweatshirt wearing)...get my drift?

I have no regrets though...it was a day to myself, a chance to set up my things and actually see everything I've made, relax and knit a little. Next time I'll hit a bigger fair and one that I'm more familiar with.

good things...

We got ghosted tonight! Our neighborhood tradition is such a fun one! Do you do it in your neighborhood? If you don't, you should! Just let me know if you need to know the 'rules' and I'll point you in the right direction.

It was such a beautiful day that even though I had so much to do I spent a good portion of it outdoors with the girlie's. We went for a walk down to what we've dubbed 'the marsh' to pick cat tails and send fairy messages.

How gorgeous is this mushroom? A fairy MUST live there for sure!

It's almost 11 am and....

I'm still in my PJ's, the kids don't have school (Teacher's Workshop), I've got an extra kid, the girlies just made a HUGE mess in the kitchen thanks to an early morning craft, I decided I MUST have an apron skirt to go with the tee I just designed myself to wear tomorrow, I have no idea how I'm even going to display my stuff, I'm getting a migraine, my 'friend' arrived a couple days early, I have loads and loads of laundry to do AND I'm completely overwhelmed!

On the plus side....

I'm really excited about tomorrow and what the future will bring, it's a gorgeous day, I already know what I'm making for dinner so I don't have to think about THAT anymore, S is taking her nap so I'm going to go bust out that apron skirt, the other girls are quietly playing littlest pet shop and I think my migraine pill is starting to kick in.

Fire chief R after school yesterday...

I really need to pack up my 'office' so I can focus on how I'm going to set up my table for the craft fair Saturday. Every time I think I've done my last tee until after the fair, I come up with just one more I want to do. I was really hoping I'd get some really fun fabrics I had ordered from Japan in but that didn't happen...oh well! Gosh, I hope they don't come tomorrow otherwise I'll really want to keep playing :)

I've got something else up my sleeve for other 'i love plum' designs but will have to wait until those supplies arrive...I can't wait!!! Sorry, but you'll have to be kept in the dark until a later date...suspense, it's good for you!

Today's Sparklies:

• The weather is unseasonably warm and it's GREAT!
• It's going to be gorgeous Friday - Monday which is extra great since the girls don't have school until Tuesday.
• I'm ordering Pizza for dinner tonight!
