Good things...

Ahhhhh...my dining room is starting to look less like a sweat shop and more like my office (we only 'dine' in there about twice a year so 'my office' it is!).
I cleaned out the hutch and put the wine glasses and platters on the bottom.
Put all my fun, vintage martini shakers in the kitchen...I'll snap a pic for ya'll to see later :)
Went through the daunting task of folding all my fabrics and neatly placing them in piles.
I'm hoping this first Spring cleaning/organization keeps the ball rolling...I MUST stay inspired!!!

I've been avoiding Old Navy like the plague since their new ad campaign first made it's debut.
I find it ugly and a total turn off.
However, I went in there today to grab a few things for the girls and saw these birdie sweaters and HAD to have both of them for myself...TOO CUTE!

I've been playing with this little Earth Day design in my head for a few days and finally had a little time to get it done today. I made one for both Zoe and Ruby. I'll be listing them in the shop in a bit. I know it's a little late to be listing something for Earth Day but we need to love our Mama every day not just one day out of the year!!!! Cute ehh?

Easter is always fun.
Everyone always seems to be in a good mood.

The dogwood trees showing their blossoms.
I love Easter.
Love the candy.
Love the bunnies.
Love the fun colors.
Love that spring has really sprung.

I got home from work at 1:00 am.

I woke up at 5:00 am (I'm not even sure how this was possible).

I vaguely remember pulling two dozen decorated eggs out of the fridge to hide.

Went back to bed.

Ruby woke me up at 6:00 am.

I said give me 10 minutes.

She came back in two.

Mish mosh...

The temp got to 60 fabulous degrees this afternoon so we soaked up the sun at the Grade School.
We've been waiting all Winter to do this...thank you Spring!!!

Made this little cutie for a client but I listed her in the shop cause I can make one for you too!

I was trying to get Stella to do her 'shoulder' move but she resisted. The clip is cute though...her voice is just darling :)

I know I've been a little MIA lately.
I worked a crazy night last night.
SOOO many LOL's that I wish I could share here...
I'm quite sure it wouldn't be appropriate.
Mob guy + Mistress + Two old men = TROUBLE
(let your mind wander from there)...oh BOY!
Plus,
my friends drove an hour to have dinner at my bar last night...that meant so much!
Lots of laughs...Lis, you always make me smile!!!

I'm in total Spring cleaning mode.
Thankfully we have a dumpster sitting in our driveway (for our new roof) cause Mama's gonna ditch e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g.!
This is how I clean. Toss it away...give it away...just get it away.

Happy birthday to my honey!!
He is 40 today.
I love you with all my heart.
Grilling some steaks with a Gorgonzola drizzle.
Mixed greens salad with a balsamic dressing.
Roasted potatoes with fresh garlic.
Homemade chocolate cake with the best frosting...EVER!
He's busy ripping our roof and making it water tight cause ummmm....it's gonna RAIN for three days!
The girls have played outside almost all day!!

Hello 'Red Flag', my friend...where were you yesterday afternoon?

Why didn't you scream in my ear?

Shake my shoulders?

Pull me into the playroom?

Why?

Was I too busy enjoying the absolute silence that allowed me to ummm, think for a second?

Quite obviously I lost my wits about me because my dear Ruby felt it necessary to morph into 'Baby Bunny' her alter ego.

Next time 'Red Flag' could you please encourage washable markers versus the permanent ones?

I've got trouble on my hands and her name is R.U.B.Y! (should have known giving her a name like that would lead to mischief!)

I emptied my Mom's camera the other day when she was over here...she had taken these two gems over the summer...I love them!!!!

I finished up my long stint of shifts Saturday...coming off Restaurant week.
Working that many shifts in a row, having to get up early to get the kids ready for school, sick...is just not for me.
This week is much more pleasant :)

Spring is definitely finding it's way to the Seacoast...the snow is finally melting and I can actually see grass!!! Yesterday I took Ruby and Stella for a quick walk...the birds were singing so loudly...it was so nice to hear :)
